Is Columbia College Chicago worth traveling out of state for?

You need to add more to your question. I believe I can help you if I knew what you want to major in. I am assuming something like film or photography. If film, I would definately go if i couldn't get into a top film school like Columbia, UCLA, or USC. Even Ohio University is known for film. I do know that respected Chicago Sun-Times columinist Mary Mitchell went there and a lot of other famous people studied or taught there. I remember reading about the school in a popular film magazine listing the top film schools. Plus, I believe they have a studio or something in Hollywood. You need to check that out. Overall, Columbia College Chicago seems like a good school. Look at the links below. Plus, its in the downtown Chicago area. You will enjoy that. I know the school is considered a decent school in the Chicago area, which is the third largest markets. Plus, you can always transfer to DePaul, UIC, or Roosevelt which is just a few block away.

I have read some mix reviews but all and all I like the school. However I live in the notheast and I was wondering if the school was worth the travel expense.
