Is academy of art university easy to get into?
So I was looking at the info. for this school and it said it has a 100% acceptance rating. Is that true? Is that a good thing? Does it make the school good or bad?

It is a very bad policy for students, many of whom have no artistic ability and will waste their time and money.
The school has this policy and wants to admit as many students as possible because it makes a profit on the high tuition fees paid by each student. Academy of Art is a profit making business, not a university. Do not go there.
You will receive instruction that is as good or better for much less money by taking art classes at your public community college or state university.

A 100 percent acceptance rating and the fact that it is a for profit school makes it bad. If its for profit it will focus on making money rather than providing a quality education. they will try hard to spend less and less on education quality and more on lining their own pockets. all units you will take at this school will not transfer to a legit university or community college (dont ask the school if this is true because they will lie to you since its a for profit school). I would recommend community college instead even if it takes longer because for profit schools are WAY too expensive for getting just a AA or bachelors degree. Just look at the horror stories.online of debt people cant pay off after attending these for profit schools. The price is simply too much for a associate or bachelors degree that many employers will not respect because it came from a for profit school. i do no mean to sound harsh by saying all of this because that is not my intention. During these hard times i would think long and hard and weigh the benefits of having transferrable units from a community college vs NON transferrable units from a WAY expensive for profit school.
