does the judge have any say about the case on the casey anthony trial?

ok ill try to explain the best i can, she was found not guilty from the jurors, can the Judge step in and say i don't agree shes no guilty and charge her for the murderer of her daughter? or not? i would think he does have the right to step in and reverse the verdict! i hope i made sense to you all!

    No, a judge cannot find someone guilty once the jury has decided they are innoccent. However, if the Jury finds her guilty a judge can set aside the verdict and only an appellate court can re-instate it.

    No, the judge cannot for it was left up to the jurors and the laws and that was what was used in finding out what the outcome is. The prosecutions can charge casey again under the true laws of what they should of done from the beginning and try to see if it would stick after what all happened. Then again they might have messed that up to.

    The judge is the one most likely to have been paid off to give the jury the wrong instructions. He may look as if he doesn't agree, so it isn't so obvious.

    No, it is over. The jury found her not guilty and rightfully so imo. I am not saying she is innocent but the case was not proved beyond and to the exclusion of every reasonable doubt.

    She could hold a press conference tomorrow and admit to killing her daughter and nothing could happen to her

    NO The judge cannot change the verdict. That would illegal

    On the decision of guilt no but on the punishment phase yes. If they say death penalty the judge can trump them on it and change that.
