"random chance" is a construct of language derived from the activity in our cerebral corticies used to describe some event that we can't otherwise explain.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Genesis 1:27&28

I think we are here for a reason God only knows and he will reveal it to us when we get to Heaven, if you are a believer who has repented of your sins and asked God to save you, and it will all make sense then. I wouldn't waste my time worrying about how we got here, because you will never get it right, until our creator tells you.

For those that float without purpose, yeah; but for those of us who live purposefully, not so much.
