Christians, If a dog runs into a church today where a mass is on, is it considered inauspicious?
The dog never had much of a reputation in any culture, especially in olden times.
"Do not give dogs what is sacred", Matthew 7:6 says.
To give you a parallel, in Hinduism (where cows are considered holy) I would imagine that a dog running into a worship and eating what's reserved as a offering to God will definitely ruin it.What is Christianity's stand today?

Christians will consider it to be a biblical event come true, and
they will declare that they should cut the dog into 12-pieces
so that their actions will mimic and follow those in sentence 29
of Judges 19 .....
“And when he was come into his house, he took a knife, and laid
hold on his concubine, and divided her, together with her bones,
into twelve pieces, and sent her into all the coasts of Israel.”
The dog will be a sacrifice for the mass, in defense of the trinity.
Christians are heartless. They have no conscience.

No, someone just helps the dog get out.

In a church, I attend regularly if the dog is well behaved and with their owner, it is allowed. It is astonishing you would have to see it to believe it and of course it is very limited.

Hopefully you realize that there is not going to be anything in the way of a sacrifice in a church service that a dog could eat.
Over the years that I have attended church regularly, I have seen more than one dog wander into a service. The ushers will usually just quietly guide the dog back out.
I have seen once where a cat wandering into the service, curled up on the back of the organ and went to sleep. That was until the next hymn started and the sudden sound startled it and sent it racing down the aisle and out the door.
Had one church where they had a family of coons that took up residence under one of the buildings and disrupted more than one service before they were finally driven away.
I remember one Easter service where bat somehow got loose in the middle of the sanctuary and kept circling the place lower and lower until one of the ushers managed to "take it out" with a hymnal.
My youngest daughter is in a wheel chair and has a service dog that goes with her to church every service. Has never been an issue having the dog in the middle of the service.
While it might be a momentary disruption (and get some laughs), no one is going to feel like they have been corrupted or degraded because an animal accidently wandering into the church.

"dogs" in Matthew is not the four legged kind but the wicked and mockers and those that serve satan.
Listen and understand the words of Jesus:
Matthew 15:15
Peter said to Him, “Explain the parable to us.” Jesus said, “Are you also still lacking in understanding? Do you not understand that everything that goes into the mouth passes into the stomach, and is eliminated? But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and those things defile the person. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, acts of adultery, other immoral sexual acts, thefts, false testimonies, and slanderous statements. These are the things that defile the person; but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile the person.”
Mark 7:18-20
And He *said to them, “Are you so lacking in understanding as well? Do you not understand that whatever goes into the person from outside cannot defile him, because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, and is eliminated?” (Thereby He declared all foods clean.) And He was saying, “That which comes out of the person, that is what defiles the person.
