Apparently he did. Of course the Republicans are claiming he stormed out and the Democrats are saying the meeting was done. Whatever.

Aside from signing or vetoing a bill, the President of the US is not responsible for writing the bill, negotiating the bill or passing the bill. That is the job of the House and the Senate and they aren't doing a very good job of it right now.

He walked out in frustration because the Republican side was not cooperating in the budget talks. I imagine that would be pretty frustrating, and most people would like to just walk out in a situation like that to make a point. I don't see how we can ever have a decent budget or reduce the debt without some cooperation from both parties. Do you?

I don't blame him, the stress is getting to him, with haters wanting him to fail, republicans being stubborn, and a dead line needing to be met

I would have lost it a long time ago and yelp at them until i lost my voice of they wet their pants ( i have a sharp tongue )

walking out is a smart move when you frustrated and need to cool off.

I wouldn't blame him if he did yell at them ( imagine it but still can't blame)

and for anyone who blame Obama for how things are, 1, do you not know government works with a check and balance system, and 2. there is a ripple effect that sometimes takes years to effect us. we have 90 years of the budget not being balance and i 100% sure obama wasn't in charge the whole time

During the first two years of his administration all he did was blame ": the previous administration" for the mess we are in.

Now, he has to negotiate and compromise with the same Republicans he kept blaming for anything and everything. They aren't giving in to him and he doesn't like it.

He apparently hasn't learned the first lesson in govt 101. Bipartisan politics is all showmanship, but in order to get anything down, you have to negotiate, sometimes behind closed doors, and compromise is the way things get done. You have to give and take,

Try to make it look like your way is the only way and you will get absolutely nowhere. He did that during his first two years, and now it is being rammed down his throat.

As far as I am concerned, he can just keep right on walking.
