What size fridge for college dorm room?

Hey so I'm going off to college in late august and I offered to bring a mini fridge. I'm sharing the room with one other person so we're splitting the big stuff. We have a small fridge in the garage that I thought I could use but my mom says it's too big- Looking at it, I think it'd be great because it could go on the floor and double as something to put stuff on. I measured it and it's 33 inches tall and 18.5 inches wide. Is this too big? I don't know about my roommate, but I'm lofting my bed and would probably put it under there.

Last year, Canadian Tire, a well-known retailer, advertised a small fridge with a microwave and coffee-maker combination. This would be an amazing piece of decor to add to any dorm room anywhere in North America.

This size fridge is actually really great. If your dorm supplies furniture, it's easy to make it blend it. My 4.5 fridge was the same height as my desk, so I put it right next to it to extend the length of my desktop. I also bunked my bed and stored my desk and fridge underneath to give us more floor space.

Hey girl! I'm actually going to college this year as well! My school says the maximum size is 5 cubic feet which is actually quite large. Like you, I am using one that I have in my basement. It is pretty big. But I think the perfect size. Here is a picture:

This one is 4.4 cubic feet, and the dimensions are 21.5 x 20.8 x 33.1 inches. Therefore, mine is bigger than yours by a little but i like it. I think you need a decent size fridge to hold water, soda, alcohol, and snacks or leftovers that need to be refrigerated. Hope i helped! Good luck.

It should be about this size. Any bigger and it will just take up room. You only need a small one since you're only going to be putting maybe a few water bottles in there, left overs, and a few ready meals. You have the food courts and dining halls so it's not the only place where you have food.

You should ask housing what is allowed. some students put the fridge on something so it is up off the floor. one guy made a shelf, the fridge on top and food and plates, bowls etc fit on the bottom.
