Can someone please tell me what the #*!@ is wrong with my printer!?
I have a Dell 946. I got it from a friend that only used it a couple of times. I am using Microsoft word and am trying to print a letter. The letterhead prints, but the body of the letter will not. I HAVE to get this letter in the mail. Can anyone smart person help me? :)
The letterhead is already in Microsoft. It is just one form of many in Microsoft that is in "Microsoft Word". I just fill in my business name and address, etc.

Question is not clear. More details required. Is the letter head HEADER is copy pasted in word or is it a scanned material ?
OK I got the addition details from you now. Thank you for the same.
There are two suggestions from my side -
1) Change the body text font colour to Automatic i.e. to Black and see.
2) I Checked on Internet. This is a Inkjet type of Printer. Therefore you can see the Ink level in both the cartridges in colour as well as in black. If required, replace the low ink cartridge with refilled or new one.
What happens is, if we have selected Colour Prints in Printer Preferences and if Black cartridge Ink level is low, then the images or texts in black gets printed with the mixing of the different colours from Colour cartridge only, skipping black cartridge Ink.

If it's actually printing the header and not the rest then maybe the ink is really low? When I run out of black ink there's an option on my printer settings to only use the color cartridge and the document prints fine. Other than that I'm not sure. If you can't figure out what's wrong fast enough you could save the document to your email or a zip drive and go to your local library to print it today. Hope I helped somewhat. Good luck :)
