He almost had my vote, then I heard him interview with Rick Warren. I was told that by not voting for him that I was "prejudiced". Simple fact is that our country is messed up and no matter who is in office they either have traditional morals (like written in the Bible) or they have hard labor in mind. Obama at least claims that coming from a poor family he is better able to help the poor. No matter who gets into office, fact is that they have a great big mess to untangle.
I will not vote for Obama and didn't vote for him because:
1. Health care reform! Are you kidding me? Tell me that if I don't have insurance I gotta go to jail. I mean sure health care is a problem. But after talking to a nurse who is actually from Canada, you learn that there is only a certain number of people allowed to get helped every so often. After that you get turned away. Obama wasn't thinking this all the way through.
2. Abortion: Okay yes, we have had many republic presidents since Roe v. Wade and abortions have not gone away. But why have into office someone who wants public money to help pay for abortion.
3. He lacks morals in general.

as you can see by the answers you have been given that the majority of people at least from the answers i have read are still on the kool-aide and would rather live in corruption with less freedom than to take a chance and see something constructive happen in america like we put in someone that actually knows how the economy works and can get jobs started, someone that does not think that the people who put him in office are dumb and ignorant but knows that freedom is something precious and no where else in the world does anyone have the opportunity we have here though we are losing it fast to a smooth talking con man that does not have enough intelligence to know he is not the Lord Jesus but just a man, i will be voting for true change and that is getting Obama out and someone else in they could not be any worse than than the idiot there now

I have to agree with many others in that, the alternative is worse...It's not that Obama is so great, just the opposition is much more terrible.
Now that being said, I would have to say my quality of life has gone up under the Obama administration. My family has moved out of poverty and into the middle class in the past 3 years, where as I feel the previous 8 (even though I voted twice for him) were much more constrictive as far as opportunities to move from the lower class and into the middle.

Propaganda is a powerful tool and Obama will have close to a billion dollars to pump out a lot of it. Look at how horrible Mayor Bloomberg is but he had more money than the other guy so he had just enough votes to squeak by and win. If Obama wins it will be a close one and it will have nothing to do with anything he has done unless people like war and corruption.

Obama was set up by Bush.
The banking crisis and the credit crunch began in the Bush administration - the present problems are largely the fault of George W Bush, Dick Cheney, the corporate bankers and the rest of the cronies
On leaving office, Bush handed Obama 'the poison chalice'

Considering the disaster of a Republican majority congress, and their greed-filled politically corrupt minds are incapable of compromise, people should vote Obama in and GOP in congress out.

It's no disaster and I will vote for him again, because he kept us out of the 2nd Republican Great Depression.

Bc I dont agree with the way the goverment would be ran with a TeaBagger in office, or another GOPer.

What disaster? I am better off now than under the previous guy. So yes, I'll vote for him again.

Because not everything has been his fault, he wasn't perfect but he wasn't that bad either, his initiatives aren't completed yet and there are no better options
