Lyla or Lila? Which spelling do you prefer?

I really like the name "Lie-la", but I am not sure on which spelling i prefer.

So which do you prefer

a) Lila

b) Lyla

c) other, and what is it.

and please state why

Neha: it is pronounced like Lie-la... Lei-la would be Leila, Layla,

    Lyla! The other way kind of makes it look lik you are trying to spell lily!

    I completely agree with Brazen. And Lyla looks very childish. I also don't like Lilah, as I hate unnecessary H's.

    Both Leyla and Leila are pronounced LAY-la. Lila is pronounced LIE-la. The princess in Star Wars is Princess Leia, which is pronounced LAY-a

    I like lila! The reason why not lyla is becuz people might think of the name Lyla like LIE-LA instead off LEI-Lah:D

    I prefer the spelling Lila. I think it looks sweeter. I've also seen it Lilah. It's more straight forward, but I'm not as big of a fan of it.

    I think the 'y' looks out of place and unnecessary. It makes it look silly and juvenile.

    c. Lilah is another spelling I like, but it's tied with Lila. Either one doesn't bother me.
