How do you not get blocked?

Let's say there's a rather prolific person on the site, preoccupied with a particular position, and that they beat said position like a bloated, dead horse.

You holster your snarky comments and respond, perhaps, tersely, but certainly not in violation of the ToS, only to find yourself blocked before you can refresh the page.

What possesses a person who, above all others, should understand the term "open-minded" , to block without a moment''s hesitation? Do they really get satisfaction from it?

I'm genuinely curious. I understand blocking the abusive and threatening, but, really. How shaky must one's own position be to block anonymous comments on a forum that may happen to present alternatives.

If there's a word this person should know, it's "alternative".

To avoid being blocked you need only give enthusiastic support for crime, depravity and treason.

I don't get blocked because I'm charming, handsome, and intelligent.

Remember, there is no alternative to being yourself!

If we all just permenantly blocked the blockers, they wouldn't get any attention and would leave the site altogether.
