How does a person stop being angry?

I don't have an anger management problem, most people have no clue that I ever get mad at all, I manage it quite well with work, realizing the important things, and exercise, but I am sick of being angry. It's not that I need to stop the anger after something makes me angry, I am just angry all the time because the world is a cruel place. I am usually quite happy though, even with the anger. With all this said, how do I stop when there is so much to be angry about?

Update:

I am usually happy because I have realized that life is too short to be mad, but I'm not mad, I'm angry. It's a deeper emotion that has taken over my being and turned me into a kill or be killed kind of person. Because of this I also can't trust anyone and can't need anyone in fear they will let me down. I enjoy my life, but I would like to be able to enjoy my life being able to lean on others when need be. My anger prevents this.

    Try to think like this before you get angry and turn green into hulk: 1)What am I so mad about? 2)Is this even worth being angry about? 3)Can I maybe talk this out with the person? 4)Who Or what caused this? 5)Why is this problem occuring? 6)Trash talk about the person in your mind 7)Think about good memories about it.

    it's not healthy to be angry all the time. you have to control yourself from anger and try to be extra sensitive of the feelings of other people that you are angry about. the world is not a cruel place. it's just a matter of perception.

    Life is too short for all that. Just accept the fact that some people are @holes and forget about it. Don't worry, be happy. Remember, it takes more energy to hate than to love.

    Truu shet tho. Lifes frustratin wen ur aware of all the corruption cuz its not fair and im being serious wen i say weed helps. No it doesnt make u dumb but wen smoked occasionally it helps u make peace wit things or prioritize wut to stress about thats wut it did for me i guess u can do that without bud but idk. Jus realize u hav no control ovr it and accept that the world can b ugly but u dnt hav to b part of that by being mad. And also being angry isnt guna fix any of it do ur part by tryna b more positive and dnt stress evrything else..... I guess? :)

    Oh and it also sounds like it cud b depression look into it. Its not jus being random sad it cud b random angr or apathy i guess. And that cud b makin u more mind susceptible to the thoughts of negativ things around u... like the world...

    break stuff haha

    just find a place where someone's thrown away some dressers, tables, tv's etc... and smash them to bits, it really helps when your angry.
