Is Jesus a bad role model?
He so far inspired the likes of Mother Teresa and his character doesn't seem bad at all from what I've read.
So is there anything wrong with Jesus?
I appreciate those who answer with more than a line and take more than 20 seconds to write a response.
@Leia
God sacrificed his son for all of humanity's sake? That is considered evil? sacrifice is the ultimate form of love in many cultures. Also you go off on a tangent trying to tie in contradictions with the trinity, as if you didn't go off on a tangent talking about God.
@ Everard
Yet her vast humanitarian work which is still praised today is to be discredited?
So a man who spends his entire life time healing the blind, lame and sick, teaching people about wisdom and morality, and sacrificing himself for his brethren is not a good role model? Boy if you can find a better person then by all means.

No, Jesus was the most perfect role model the world has ever had. He certainly was compassionate and didn't have any spare money to throw around so he had to depend on miracles to help other people such as feediing 4000 at one time and 5000 at another time, healing all kinds of sicknesses and infirmities, raising the dead, blessing innocent children, raising up disciples to go forth in his name to preach the gospel and heal the sick, raise the dead. Yes, both Peter and Paul raised the dead too as well as Jesus. He cast out demons from many also, and one man had a legion of demons that he cast out and he allowed them to go into a herd of pigs so the people begged him to leave. And today people want Jesus to leave and let them alone so they can sin and live their own lives. The truth is we don't know what we were created for unless the Lord has our life. He is the author and finisher of our faith and only he knows what is best for us, and how we can accomplish what we were created to do and be the fulfillment of all we were created to be.

Jesus is the ultimate bad role model. He would never just admit that he was wrong and then say he was sorry. Imagine someone claiming to be God. When people questioned him he made more elaborate stories about how he was right. Would have been a lot better to just say, "Look, when I was born people told me that I was the son of God. This has gone for enough you people need to just STFU." Or something like that.

Maybe you should read up no MT.
She scammed MILLIONS for the church while her 'nurses' re used needles on the poor and the helpless.
So you reckon a mythical man without a job hanging with guys is a good role model.
Cool.

Jesus inspired:
"People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and sincere, people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.
What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.
Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway.
In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway."
~Mother Teresa

If Jesus show humility...
Joh 13:13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
Joh 13:14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also OUGHT to wash one another's feet.
Joh 13:15 For I have given you an example, that YE SHOULD DO as I have done to you.
Why I have yet seen any churches doing its in their services? (that means Chrisitans doing it to one another), ESPECIALLY when the LORD commanded it to be done!!!
Just what is CHRISTianity? When followers ignored the commandments of Christ?

No.He had a good sense of humor,he was helpful to everyone,he hanged out with all kinds of people, including the "bad" ones, was friendly, did not judge etc. etc. I don't see anything bad here.
Some of His followers are totally the opposite of this.

no...jesus was a good man, but god seems pretty evil to me. i mean, he did send jesus to die and do his work. why couldnt god do that himself? father son holy ghost? what's all that? it says jesus is the son of god. way too many contradictions.
