How can I keep bees away from my raspberry bushes?
I know they're necessary for pollination and all, but I have too many bees in my garden- meaning I can barely go out there and pick the berries. Any advice?

Even though you may be worried about getting stung, as others have said you don't want to get rid of them. I don't know where you're located but in some parts of the US there has been a shortage of bees becuase of some sort of infestation.
The bees won't come after you. It's a good idea to pick early in the morning, or very late evening as there won't be as many to bother you. I have rasberry bushes as well and I almost always see bees whenever I'm picking, but have never been stung or bothered by tthe bees.
Relax and enjoy the berries, that the bees helped pollinate.

I just recently saw a guy spray wd-40 on a bees' nest and it obliterated them!!
Call your county extension office and ask their help to exchange any stinging honey bees' nests in your garden for an orchard bee apiary. It's a tube filled with smaller tubes and a beekeeper or c.o. agent fills it with pollinating orchard bees which do not sting people.
Put a cage of rabbit wire-smaller holes than chicken wire- over your berries, everybody does it where I come from. There's a little door you put in.

As i've got faith has already been suggested, yet is definitely relatively worth restating, bees are in intense decline and relatively you're able to desire to be attempting to charm to them on your backyard as they are an fundamental component of the pollination technique. of direction, i will understand which you're able to discover them demanding, yet, human beings tend to think of they are lots extra aggressive than they are literally; they are unlikely to do something to you except you attempt and harm them. you additionally can keep an eye fixed out for the plant life the bees seem to love maximum, and, in case you could, circulate them around so as that they are actually not so fascinated in the place you want to take a seat down. Or ask on the interior sight nursery which plant life do not charm to bees lots, and have them around your patio rather. desire that helped...

Just go and pick in the early morning while it's cool and the bees are still asleep.

Please don't try to stop them As you say, they are vital for pollination and I ignore them as I am picking fruit - and have never been stung. When feeding they seem to be in a contented state of mind and therefore docile.

Try planting some eucalyptus or mint. I have the same problem. There is nothing you can really do. They don't like red plants as much as others.
