What is your favorite Alan Rickman movie?

Besides the Harry Potter series, the only other films that has Alan Sidney Patrick Rickman that I know of (and I like) are "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" (with Kevin Costner as Robin Hood and Rickman as the sheriff of Nottingham) and "Galaxy Quest" (with Tim Allen as Jason Nesmith and Rickman as Alexander Dane).

It's hard to narrow it down to just one because I've seen them all and love most of them, but if I had to, probably Closet Land. If you like suspense (and Alan Rickman as the bad guy), you'll LOVE it. Snow Cake and Galaxy Quest rank up there too.

Wow that is a really hard question, I honesty love him in all the films that he has done, he is so diverse and has played his roles very well. I guess I will say Harry Potter since he bought Snape to life in a way that no ones else could have, he was superb and at times you felt that he really was Prof. Snape. But I stand by what I said, I think that he is great in all the films, plays, etc... that he does, he truly is a brilliant actor.

All the movies I have seen that he has been in (maybe about 5) have all been very watchable. He knows how to pick good movies to be in! There was that one where he was a ghost, and the one where he bought a necklace for his mistress, and then Die Hard, and I can't remember the other names of the movies. I was thinking he could have taken the part of the ballet master in the Black Swan and been quite good at that.
