Bad sunburn, see a doctor?

Hello,

I am quite badly sun burnt. I don't have any blisters but am very red all over my upper body (front and back) and have pain. The pain has decreased ever since it happened but it still hurts when I wear a t-shirt. Also when I don't wear anything it hurts a little bit.

As I am on holidays and the pharmacists here don't seem to understand my questions exactly, I don't know if I should go see a doctor or wait for an improvement.

Maybe I'm just too careful?!

The question is, what the doctor would do? He might just give me a different medication, maybe antibiotic ointment.

I am having cold showers, use Aloe Vera and a moisturizing spray for burns.

Someone will obviously tell me how badly I hurt my skin - yes I am totally aware of that and cannot believe it happened either.

Thanks for your answers in advance.

Hi, You should call your doctor soon so that proper treatments starts before the sunburn gets infectious. You must have avoided to go to St. Patricks Day, or have taken proper medications to avoid sunburn affects your skin.
