1994 Ford F-150 XLT good deal or not?

I'm looking at a 1994 Ford F-150 XLT with 198,000 original miles. Everything thing is original, all hoses were just replaced. The only rust is a 3 inch rust spot on the side. The title is registered in California and I am in Maryland. It has only been over here for a year. Oil was changed every 2,000 miles. I think this things in good shape. He wanted $1500 and I offered $1100 and he counters at $1300. I accepted it. Please if you need any more info please ask. He also has all maintenence records. Thanks!

Less than average mileage so that may be a plus. Have it checked out by a mechanic. The older F150s are harder to come by. It's a good price for a V8 truck.

What does it matter now? You bought it and now own it at $1,300. It's a 17 year old vehicle with almost 200,000 miles, and the average life of any vehicle is 10 years.

    Good luck with it.

You got majorly ripped off. That is an old high millage rust bucket, I wouldn't have paid over $700.

tell him that truck is nicely worth like in straight forward terms a million,000 money because of the fact of its miles nonetheless if the transmission and the engine are in super condition it remains too lots miles. i could of given him even 4500 dollars if that truck has a diesel engine.
