Want to balance my budget, so should my wife and I SPEND more money?

That is what your president is selling.

Update:

Hey, Eat, Yep, I did steal it. I did that because I did see that the question was deleted and couldn't understand why, if it was automatic by the system or someone reporting it for some reason.

I wanted to add that the only thing better than spending more money would be to go to my neighbors and force them to pay for my bills rather than me cutting my expenses.

Call a few credit card companies and get your debt limit increased. If you never intend to pay off the cards that is the the best way to balance your budget. Once you get the limits raised, celebrate by maxing the cards out on booze and fireworks( made in China).

It depends. Say you can't make ends meet, so you might spend money on a resume service so you can get a better job. Or you might spend money on a moving service, moving to a place that's less expensive to live. You might even spend money on CFLs to replace your incandescent light bulbs, which will save on your electric bill. It's all about what you spend your money on.

In times of recession, the government is often forced into deficit spending in order to improve the economy. Maybe you could read a book or something.

Actually it is not what he is selling. He is for even more cuts than the reps but with revenue also. The math doesn't work with just spending cuts alone unless you cut military spending to next to nothing.

Depends on whether you're balancing the budget of everyone in your street as well as your own.

I think the dumbest economists control our countries economy! How ironic!

    Obama has cut military spending.

Republicans have only increased it, especially tea partiers.

Bad analogy. You are not accounting for the debt and interest you owe. Basically your accounts payable. If you went your way, what would happen is personal bankruptcy.

Yes. And then when you max out the credit card tell the bank you will default on your home loan unless they raise your credit limit.

Just continue to barrow and spend more and more. Eat, drink, and be Merry. Pass your debts on to your grandchildren. Let them figure it out!
