About the debt ceiling issue...why is NO ONE?

actually addressing the root cause of the issue? The root cause is the ability to spend before a budget is made or any plan of being able to pay obligations are determined?

Why is this not the topic of debate for anyone?

It's called 'living above our means' as a nation. Lots of us do that on an individual basis and it comes back to Bite us. Actually - Maybe - we're on a slippery banana peal to socialism - but don't say that Too loudly. Shhhh !!

Because nobody Wants to talk about the Real issue !!!!!

Its called the Balanced Budget Amendment with real teeth and difficulties getting around it.

It should be THE litmus test for all future candidates.

Anyone who doesn't support it, prefers unsustainable, irresponsible government and hates their children and grand children, most especially progressive libs are the ones who hate their children

Well, you and I are talking about it. We need to vote in people who will deal with this properly.
