When considering a Republican or Democrat president, have you considered the past history?

At least in the last 50 years, the statistics between each party when elected & how much deficit or surplus they have after they leave office?

Who was the last president with a surplus amount? Clinton. Democrat.

Who was the last Republican president to have a surplus amount after leaving?

Can't think of any since I have been alive.

So, why do Republicans think their way is correct if past history has shown this untrue?

You are conveniently ignoring which party controlled congress at the time.

Congress controls spending. You need to look at those statistics again basing your conclusions on which party had control of congress.

The Republicans don't really believe it -- they want YOU to believe it. Their agenda has always been to send society back to the 50's.

    And I don't mean the 19 50's or even tghe 18 50's -- the 50's.

They want us all to look into the future and forget about the past for a reason, however if any more republicans elected there will be no future.

Sorry to inform you, but Clinton's last budget was 161 billion dollars in deficit. Look it up at the US Treasury Dept.

Very good bubbles. Just continue to perpetuate the left wing lies and eventually the masses will believe them

"Deficits don't matter" --Republican, Dick Cheney

This, among other reports, makes my decision far more clear. http://www.businessinsider.com/bush-aides-admit-th...
