Ok. I used Equi Spot on my horse and....?
As I was applying it to his the top of his head, he tossed his head getting it on his forelock. I put a fly mask on him and pulled the hair out so it wouldn't touch his eyes. A few hours later he has rubbed off the mask and one eye is runny looking. I rinsed his eyes out. He wasn't too keen on the idea. and I'm hoping for the better. But I would like some feedback if anyone has had a similar experience and how it turned out.
I will take him to the vet Monday if he still looks questionable. It is Saturday night and we don't really have any vets available until then.

Yep, call the vet. Also I tried equispot and had absolutely no evidence it was working.

I have used that product but never gotten it in their eyes. It can burn, so most likely rinsing it was the best thing you could do at the time. Here is what the package has as a caution:
CAUTION: Hazards to Humans: Harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. Causes moderate eye irritation. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. DO NOT USE ON HORSES INTENDED FOR FOOD USE. DO NOT USE ON FOALS UNDER 12 WEEKS (3 MONTHS) OF AGE.
If the horse's eye still looks runny tomorrow, a call to your vet, weekend or not, would be a good idea.
