How could Adam and Eve know eating the apple was bad?

God actually wanted us to eat of the Tree because it brought the knowledge right and wrong, good and bad so that one can make a choice. By commanding us not to eat of the tree brought an negative experience with consequences and also a value and longing for hearing and obeying God which Adam did not have before eating of the Tree of right and wrong. Adam and Eve could have repented on the spot but instead they began the blame game. They just did not have the correct knowledge or enough information yet to handle the situation. According to God having the knowledge of right and wrong actually made us more like Him. Complete repentance can return us to the original state of Adam and Eve but with better understanding than they possessed. God not only taught them right and wrong theoretically but practically. Nachash (hebrew word translated as serpent) was not a serpent in the garden but only became on after the curse to go upon his belly and eat the dust of the earth. Adam and Eve actually watched Nachash be turned into a serpent right before their very eyes and they were terrified by it.

We do not know that it was an apple or apple tree. We are told the " fruit from the tree of knowledge"..............whatever that tree was or is.

They were told.........by God, Himself. How could it have been made any clearer?

If I tell you, " don't put the gun barrel into your mouth and pull the trigger"..........are you going to be too stupid to understand why? Are you going to test me? Are you going to try it and 'see'?

That is exactly what Adam and Eve did...................they challenged and disobeyed God. They did this of their own will. There were no other examples for them to follow.

IF YOU LOOK AT SCRIPTURE WITH EYES DESIRING INCONSISTENCY, YOU WILL FIND IT! HOWEVER, YOUR EYES ARE NOT READING AND UNDERSTANDING THE SCRIPTURE YOU ARE READING BECAUSE THEY ARE CORRUPTED BY EVIL INTENTION! YOU WILL NOT SEE THE TRUTH!

What is to stop them... you gave the account of what they did do! They wanted to know everything and have the knowledge that God has! Satan tempted them with pride and power! It's the same action that you represent! YOU ARE ADAM AND EVE! YOU DEMONSTRATE THE MESSAGE AND THE TRUTH! deny what God has told you! Do what you want to do! Let your selfish PRIDE rule your decisions! Strive for the knowledge you can not attain and claim intelligence with out understanding!

God spoke to them all the time before they took the fruit. He told them not to eat it and if they did, they would not be able to "visit" with Him directly any longer.
