Actually you are wrong about the value of memory, it may not be "eternal" but is is significant, I know that I always try to live my life in such a way that even the memory of my life is a blessing to my family and friends. Through memory I can express my love for them beyond even my own death. You are a Christian and you don't know this?

As for another species? I cannot imagine being anything else really, because there are literally thousands of things that make being a human one of the best things to be just in terms of quality of life. It doesn't matter whether or not we cease to exist, it is always the kind of life we get to live that makes it a joy or sorrow.

Response - Dog. This stuff means something, people and life, and living, and culture - it all has purpose. Dogs have lived alongside humans for ages, and have evolved accordingly. So have we. Dogs and humans were "made" for each other.

i would be an owl, its my favourite animal, i prefer the night to the day (although some owls arent nocturnal), and the whole flying things really liberates you from the ground (although i wouldnt have the mental capacity to appreciate it)
