5 shot 38 or 5 shot 44 spl?

    Go with the .44. If you need more shots than 5 you should have run away by then.

    If I'm carrying a snub, I'm worried about concealment. I'd prefer to (and do) carry the 5 shot .38 for the smaller diameter cylinder. A Taurus 851UL with 2'' barrel. Also prefer 125-130 gr. +P JHP.

    I also have a S&W Model 60-15 with 3'' barrel. That one gets loaded with .357 Magnum, 125 gr. JHP.

    Both have cylinders that are no thicker than a M1911's grip.
