toe tattoo and bunion surgery?!?!?!?!?!??!!?

so in about 2 years (because of the waiting list) im planing on getting a bunion surgery. however i wanted to get a matching tattoo with my sister on my third or fourth toe. so my question is would they still allow me to get the surgery if i got this tattoo?

Update:

if shes on a 2 year waiting list its probably some type of National health service--it will not make any difference as long as its not the toe having surgery-might wind up with crooked tattoo

The only way to know if that stubbing injured the healing process is to call your surgeon and make an appointment to go see him/her. The x-ray will tell you whether something was disrupted from your injury. I like to use screws for my bunions since they are buried in the foot and rarely if ever cause irritation and pain and plus they hold the osteotomy better with a lot better compression. Hope this helps!

I am not a doctor so do not take this advice to heart but here is my opinion.

I say get your tattoo after your surgery. You tattoo will cause the surgeon a problem because the ink goes in to the under skin and if it is metal based it can cause the bovie (surgical tool that uses electricity to burn skin to clot arteries and veins) to ark the electricity. Now arching electricity can cause extra damage to your body. Also if you do get it, it will most likely be destroyed when the surgeon cuts in to the skin.

My advice, wait after your surgery and till your scar heals then get your tattoo.

If you have money for ink why not pay a dr to fix your deformity?
