Am I the ONLY person that does not blame all of our problems on one person/party? No one else thinks we can?
spread the blame around equally?
So much of what I read on here is Obama/Tea Party's fault? Are you people serious?
Thanks!

No. I am hoping that the people who do not know they are wrong and just think it is more fun to be partisan instead of a patriot.
S&P gives Japan a AAA rating and they have twice the debt we do, a tsunami, and a nuclear melt down crippling industry. They also have a harmonious legislature that does what it needs to do based on reality.
It is time to settle down and do what we need to do. I had my time to be mad and blame people. It is time to not pass this on to our children and fix this now. Democrats, Republicans, and TEA party need to come together for America now. This is an opportunity for us to all be humble and finally fix this now. It is not out of our reach.

Yes your very correct. There is a long history that has led us to this point starting from Reagan to today where both sides made direct and indirect decisions that had a causative effect. Being unable to examine those things (damage control) for what they are will only lead us to escape (maybe) from the quick sand only to fall into the next pit a few feet away.

Republicans 45%
Cutting taxes instead of paying down debt when they had the chance.
Democrats45%
Increase the deficit through entitlement programs over last 30 tears.
Tea Part 10%
The only ones who grasp problem, but unwilling to compromise working toward a goal instead of demanding it MUST HAPPEN NOW.

Sorry, I don't believe blame deserves to be spread around equally. The way I see it, one party is trying to rebuild our economy, and the other is trying to make sure it stays weak until Election Day 2012. I don't believe Obama is so horrible that any means to help remove him from office is justified. If the Republicans want to continue to sabotage recovery, camoflaged as a desire for deficit reduction, they are traitors to our country.

Libs: Bush's fault
Cons: Obama's fault

I agree with you. As does the analysts at S&P. The issue is a government that cannot work together. That's sad. And it's not laid at the feet of one person or one party.

I agree with you and I don't think any in the government are concerned enough about America to seriously solve the problems our economy has.

No, not the only one, but thank you for that.
Next year is election year so you'll see a lot of that.

We need to cut spending and raise taxes.
Should bring in some serious revenue.
