Tackling sleepiness without caffeine?

I often find myself getting incredibly sleepy at work- particularly just before and after lunch. It's ridiculous- I get to the stage where I can barely hold my eyes open, and and if I do close them for more than a second my head drops I start to doze off!

I get plenty of sleep (usually 8 hours) and am pretty sure it's not narcolepsy... The thing is I'm very sensitive to caffeine, and a cup of coffee will usually give me palpitations and nasty headaches.

Has anyone got any other tips on how to wake myself up? As a girl who wears make up I can't resort to splashing my face with water either..!

A deficiency in iron, vitamin B12 and the other B-vitamins causes tiredness (anemia). you can get your nutrient levels checked up; the nurse will take a blood test to see if you lack any of them. you might want to take an iron supplement, a vitamin B-complex supplement, and eat healthy (including spirulina and chlorella).

Splash your face with chilly water, take a snooze, pay attention to loud or remarkable song - or issues that make you sing alongside. Get human beings to speak to you - that works for me interior the automobile while i'm driving.
