Guys...So question for ya?
So...I just recently got out of a relationship, and a week later the guy tells me why he broke up with me...Have any of you ever broke up with a girl because you were getting to close to her family and her and got scared? Or got to close to the girl and her family and was afraid you'd lose once she went off to college? Even though you knew college was a factor when ya'll started going out.
Girls, what would you think if a guy told you that?
Also, he took my virginity*which I'm not too upset about at this point in time*
Give me your thoughts and opinions on this whole matter.
We have gone out for a year and half on and off...this time we had dated for 3 weeks...we both knew in the beginning of this past time college was coming up and I'd be leaving soon...My college is only 2 hours away and I told him that if both are willing to make the relationship work, then long distance can work out. But he said he got too close to me and was falling for me...and pretty much told me he got scared.

1) I think thats a pretty screwed up way to treat a girl that isn't fair at all. 2) Both of you must've been aware that college would be coming up and that it might mean you were going to break up. He should've weighed that option before ever even starting the relationship. 3) Him getting cold feet and backing out once he started getting close to your family sounds a little fishy. I can understand if you start to feel panicked if you realize your falling in love or something like that, but breaking up over that? That seems like the opposite thing you should do in that situation...right?

1-I don't know why he would do that if he really loved you he wouldn't have broken up with you for those reasons. Don't worry their'll be other guys.
2-It depends whos going to college you or him.

a very lame excuse to break up if you ask me. i would think he really didn't like me.
