Will the riots lower the rent?

If the riots make white people want to move out of the more affordable neighborhoods in London and into the suburbs, that will lower demand for apartments there, which will lower the rent.

No. There will always be a high demand for property in London. People won't leave for the suburbs over this. Ealing is a suburb and it was trashed. Mindless violence can happen anywhere and people living in London are there for work mostly. Travel costs a fortune and moving out to the country is for the wealthy.

Disagree. Moving out is a long and difficult process. (packing etc.) So i doubt people will move out because of the riots. However those who lost homes, will probably choose houses further away from where they were.
