Is it better that Gov Perry held a giant prayer rally to pray for rain instead of....?

Guv Goodhair and the Republican legislature in Texas withheld funds this year from the elderly and/or poor that would have provided relief from the record-breaking heatwave in the state. Please read this article about his political pep rally last Saturday:

Well actually Texas has HUGE amounts of reservoirs.... the real problem is that they have all dried up. During a historic drought like this, there is really nothing that man can do to curb it.

That would have taken him out of character. Slick Rick Perry is a thief.

Hope God helps Texas to get rid of the locusts and bloody water as well.

In order for god to prove his existence, and love for his 'creations,' is for him to NOT prevent a natural disaster, kill countless people, and then when an old woman walks from underneath the rubble......hey, it's a miracle, god did it, god saved her, god loves us!
