This question is more to keep pumped-up an image of Republicans you want to believe in rather that actually learning something. It gives yourself an excuse to dismiss or otherwise discredit a Conservative message as so to avoid being challenged and having to contemplate it. After all, why would one have to consider what someone else who is nuttier than squirrel crap has to say. There, you're safe.

That being said, I think Bachmann is a little light on mastery of the issues. When hit with an issue she hasn't had to deal with before, she's a bit like a deer in headlights. She does have the ability to step up to them though. The one I fear is Ron Paul. Although good in theory, his would be the "nuclear option" in Republican (really Libertarian) solutions to our problems.
