Stomach hurts a lot. Could this be food poisoning?

I ate some flourless lemon butter cake or something like that. It tasted ok and looked alright, but I'm a bit iffy about how long it's been in the fridge. Well, it's been about an hour and a half since I ate it and my stomach has painful stabbing pains through it, kind of like a really bad stitch. It gets worse when I straighten up. Could it be from food poisoning? Or would it be a cramp from hunching over my desk typing an assignment out for the past few hours?

If it is food poisoning, on one hand D= but on the other hand, an excuse for not going to uni tomorrow! =D but still...owies =(

Update:

Okay, had crippling sharp stabbing pains that made me double over and consider going to a doctor (or hospital coz the docs are shut this time of night). Had a hot shower, now everything is fine. As in, there is nothing. Maybe a minor ache but no worse than a cat kneading your belly. If anyone knows what happened just now, please share.

The only answer to your question is to go to the washroom and do your business in there. See what happens.
