Othelzer...did you miss the news? NASA NOMO. Or at least the space program as we've known it for 50 years.

  • Lets see an imaginary God try and stop us.

Edit: "why would we reach for the stars when we cant take care of our own crib"

Because not everyone is living in fantasy land, thinking an imaginary friend in the sky will take care of us. The sun is getting hotter every day and eventually it is going to fry all life on earth. We need to learn how to traverse the enormous interstellar distances to find a new home, so our human species doesn't go extinct. Far more time and money is wasted on worshiping an invisible man in the clouds, so why don't you guys feed the poor, rather than waste 10% of your income on an "all powerful" being? Billions upon billions of dollars are spent building places of worship, so every hungry mouth could be fed with a tiny fraction of that money.

You could argue that if God didn't want us to travel beyond the earth he wouldn't have given us the knowledge and knowhow to do so

    Why not?

"we cant take care of our own crib"

    And who's fault is that?

    Hint: It's NOT God's!
