Ok, a tattoo on my side/ribs...?
I know tattoos on the ribs and side look good on skinny people with small curves, but would a side/rib tattoo look good on a curvier girl? I have nice curves, but I'm not skinny by anymeans. I'm just trying to find a placement for my next tattoo, I wanted it on my foot, but I wont be able to cover it.
Don't tell me not to get a tattoo or anything, I already have one, and this next one I am getting will be in memory of my cousin who died 4 months premature. She would be 6 in December. She died when I was only in 7th grade and wasn't quite sure how to handle that, so this will be in memory of her.
I was thinking about having stars come down from the side of my right shoulder blade, down along my side, then have a premature birth awareness ribbon and a butterfly sitting like on my hip near my pelvic bone area. Would that look good? or not?
The reason why I am going with stars, is it fits the theme of my first tattoo, which is moons and stars, so the stars would fit in.

i really like the placement, i think its quite edgy(: but, the idea of stars going all the way down your back, no offense is a bit tacky. how about some curly, yet classy cursive, saying something meaningful down your side? ive always thought that is extremely classy, and cute. it could say something like"Unable are the loved to die. For love is immortality" or"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal." ...both are some quotes i found online<3....oh ps. the quotes are about your cousin, rip. she will always be loved<3

What a lovely gesture for someone who would have only been your cousin...
I'm not skinny, im not really fat but i have a bit of chub and i have writing on my ribs, i think as long as it doesnt sculpt your body, I.E, go around your hips or "curves" then it will look fine...
Be wary that getting a tattoo on your ribs absolutely KILLS! But yes by all means, go for it, it is your body after all, people that don't know you shouldnt be able to tell you what to do

I don't really like the stars idea…kinda of cheezy. I have a Virgen de Guadalupe tattoo on my side. You could do something like that and get an angel looking over a baby…or something.
I got my tattoo when I was like 5-10 pounds overweight and it looked awesome….and now that I am 5-10 pounds underweight it still looks awesome. and i have wide hips, small waist…..etc…hourglass medium bone structure with curves.
If it looks good on me, it will look good on you!

So you're going to hold your arm down the entire time whilst dressed in a bikini and round your mum and dad. No that may not be suspicious. You will have to placed it underneath in which the bikini will quilt or get a one-piece go well with. And I consider your mum and dad...hand tattoos are a terrible concept.
