Why do we even let them run for office?

As you know, most politicians are not interested in improving life for their constituents, but would rather line their pockets instead. They claim to be serving us but are in fact the lapdogs of big business, and are constantly selling their influence to the highest bidders.

Partisan politics and the cult of personality have crippled our legislative branch to the point where things only get done if it is in the interest of the Military/Industrial complex to have a given bill passed.

Can we not see that these clowns are selling us down the river? How long will it be before they make wage-slaves out of us all?

Why do we let this happen?

Your false appeal to the majority is insincere.

The Republicans are trying to cut medicare and social security, and the president is fighting against it.

He had to give up a lot, but I think he 'won'.

You can help out, or not, that is up to you to decide.

under our current system the people who can make the changes are the people who benefit from the corruption in the system, the riots we have just had demonstrate somewhat the problem we have, we all know that the despair that is widespead is a catalyst to some after all we have seen it all over the world, but our politicians say it has nothing to do with it, so if violence and wanton destruction changes nothing, what else do we do our politicians have deplored other countries for heavy handed tactics by other government for their riots and out off the same mouths they have criticised our police for being too soft even with the knowledge that in the student riots a police officer was convicted off murder , after that they were always going to be far to lenient.

Agree with most points, and to be honest I'm a little scared about their talks of "one world government" "RFID" "martial law in crisis", etc.

Way to go - you are successfully removed from the blue-list media-fed sheeple to the yellow-list free-thinking individual as I was a few months ago! You sound like you need a good dose of intelligent Ron Paul debates as all of us free-thinking individuals need :)

Ron Paul is very interested in the welfare of the citizens. He cannot be bought by banks, corporations and evil puppeteers. He works hard to limit government, give people more freedom and restore the Constitution! He really is our only hope unless the polls are rigged and the bank-supported Romney puppet decides to turn around and put the citizens first!

But, hey, they say the best political jokes are in office!

And how do you propose to stop them alone? Because no one will ever do anything but talk about it and get everybody and their grandmothers blood pressure sky high. Frankly we are fighting a losing battle. Until Superman or God comes to save the damn day we may as well resign ourselves to continue suffering. Now that's not really my attitude but i see it as many others.

I still think there are some politicians that do care about everybody and not just gaining power, making money, and taking down their opposition. though you aren't outrightly wrong, i wouldn't be surprised it several politicians followed suit to that.

but if we don't put politicians into office, who do we put in?

Two words in your question interest me. "WE" and "LET"

Why not try to stop them?

Wage Slaves? Just full of aphorisms, aren't you?
