its because like dogs people are easily entertained... one day i was wearing hoops and someone said that they looked like a hola-hoop for a finger (i wear really big hoops) and then i took one out and was twirling it on my finger and about 10-15 minutes later i realized that it was 10-15 minutes later and i had no idea what the teacher was talking about... :D

Then I just realized I read a posting by a guy who admitted he watched his dog chase his tail for 10 minutes.

I was just easily entertained by someone telling me a story about how they were easily entertained by a dog who was easily entertained by their tail.
