Baiyok tower is mid town. It's close to everything. On the main road from Baiyok at Makkasan area, there's seafood restaurant you shouldn't miss, ask anyone around once you get here. The name is Tae Poachana. They're right on Makkasan Road, with many cars parking in the front at night, although I think it's no parking. Seafoods in Thailand is super, and in this restaurant it's just great.
Ruen Petch Restaurant for hot pot on New Petchaburi road nearby offer hot pot, and special Chinese foods. Very cheap and I don't see many western people in there, although sometimes there are a few. They are cheap and very original hot pot.
Chai Tha Ra Chan Pen on Rama four close to Dusit Hotel on Silom is very good on seafoods, dim sum, and BBQ chicken. Try them, you'd like them. They're not expensive, very reasonable price. If you like big sea crabs, they have them alive. Most of the Thai seafoods restaurants have life seafoods so they're very fresh. If you have the stomach for it, try oysters raw. Eat them the Thai way with all the vegetable, lime, fried red onion, garlic, and chill hmmm...
