Christians: How do you feel about using christian online dating sites, like christian mingle?

umm,i meet my husband in the trnk of a car on the way to a party,got married 2 weeks later,came to love God together and been together ever since.Dont get me wrong we do have problems.Personally ,i think its creepy,online dating in general,just cause they have to put in that their a Christian dosnt mean much.They get that option to leave out phyco ax murder.Try church groups,theres always singles there,it lessens your chance of getting hacked up,but then again,i road in the trunk,what do i know,guess go for it!!!

Funny thing...the same instant I read this message an ad for Christian mingle came on the tv.

I learned my lesson about online dating a long time ago...no way, no how. There is no way for a site like that to screen users but the term "Christian" gives users a false sense of security...I would trust such a site FAR less than I'd trust a more generic site (e.g., match.com).

I'm married so I don't use it. I do have friends who do use it. They haven't found anyone yet. I saw some of the pictures of the men on that site and they don't appear to be Christians by the way they pose. They don't look at all humble.

My marriage predates such devices.

I recommend finding a like minded church, where I am sure you will be able to find a like minded wife.
