PRINTING MISTAKES IN BIBLE?

These are just presenting alternative spellings of names - they are clearly speaking about the same persons.

Spelling alternatives are reflective of variations in time, region and original language (for example British and American spelling of words are different although they are both the same language, so Americans write *color* but the british write *colour*.

Similarly there are variations of name spellings; Michael spelt MichEal is gaining popularity even in English and the FRENCH for Michael is => Guillaume. These are neither mistakes nor contradictions but simply a reflection of how language changes over time.

As for "Tou/Toi" this is actually a nickname(I had originally said these were the same in the Hebrew but I was wrong); As for Hadoram, it is undoubtedly a nickname for Joram; there are many such examples in the Bible(Beten/Abdon, Leshem/Laish, Gederah/Gederothaim, Kirjatharba/Hebron, Kirjathsannah/Kirjathsepher/Debir, etc). I would thus say the same for Tou/Toi.

Why would you care?

It's only a book. No book has been written by God, books have been inspired by God but that is it.

So you have interpretations and then translations. The final result is divisions.

This is not the way of God.

PRINTING mistakes means that YOUR copy has errors that aren't in other editions.

Gd didn't dictate incorrectly.

Though many translations are faulty, to whit: Virgin and Young woman are the same word in the original language (Ancient Hebrew, and Ancient Greek, as well). When translated to LATIN, they chose the translation to Virgin...which is a huge piece of Christianity. See, if the word had been translated as young woman (the original meaning) then it would have changed THE ENTIRE MYTH!!!

Edit: The KJV is NOT the original, nor the original language!!!

The Bible was written in Hebrew, then translated to Greek, Latin, THEN English! That is a LOT of room for translation errors, and the KJV was DELIBERATELY incorrect.

Sunshine is correct. Just like Nebuchadnezzar and Nebuchadrezzar. One spelling is Hebrew and the other Aramaic. Yet, obviously the same person.

LOL The scribes went crazy and made trivial mistakes. You might notice that that is a historical note, not an important thing. You should phone the Pope about Gog and Magog.

That's the problem when you outsource. Quality control just goes right out the window.

The whole bible is a terrible mistake on mankind.
