A/C Controls Problem?

I have a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac 4.6L V6 with working A/C (that is the compressor works and it blows cold air). The problem is that it is stuck blowing the air only out of the defog vents, and not the main vents. Also, the Max A/C is not functioning as it did before Just Regular A/C. Temp setting is also functional.

It has 115K miles on it, and is well cared for.

Could it be the right knob that directs where to blow the A/C or the duct work under the hood (which one is the problem)?

my guess is check the ac ducts if came lose or need to be replace also the vacuum hose s might of loosen up or need replaced.you can also if any kind of debris might be an obstacle that's blocking the air path.
