The Communists tried to abolish religion and failed and shed more blood in the name of atheism than was ever done in the name of misguided theist practice ( but greed was the real reason for the conflict rather than any religion)

There will always be multiplicity of religions and we need to practice not only tolerance but appreciation

Multiplicity of religions in the world is the problem. Wars have been fought and countless humans have died because they believe in a different fantasy than the one doing the killing. What a shame. The true possible solution would be to either have no religion or have everyone believe in the same religion. This of course will never happen.

Not at all. Think of all those lonely billions out there. So much would be missing from their lives. Just how could they cope with all that free time. Unruly mobs of atheists invading everywhere looking for something to do. Something to think about.

Just doesn't bear thinking about. Sheer chaos. You leave them alone. So many Godless people would be disastrous. Just what horrible potential could they come up with as an alternative. Just what would become the moral guide then. The apparent hopelessness of directionless humanity would be phenomenal. Yahoo Answers would be swamped with more millions of frivolous and stupid questions that we could cope with.
