I understand your question and know who Bill is (was). You say there are only 2 meetings in your town but how often are these two meetings, weekly, monthly, annually? Please add a little more to your question.

If you feel that you need more than two meetings WEEKLY then I'd say that you have more than one addiction. People who attend A.A. can actually become dependent on those meetings to the point that they feel a need to keep attending more and more and will move from one town to another. That is as much of an addiction as your other addiction. Twice a week is more than ample if you wish to return to normality at some point. If you attend too often it will become a crutch which you will never be able to let go of.

I wish you well because I know how you feel and I want you to feel a whole lot better.

I am not a friend of bill w. but I do understand your question,. Have you tried reaching out to those two chapters and explaining your situation???? Do they put info on line? Keep trying. As long as you have a computer and a telephone, you are not alone. Stay strong, call or write NATIONAL headquarters if you have to. Keep reaching out. Maybe there is an online group. and a sponsor close enough to make home visits. Stay strong, persist, dont give up. First determine what kind of support you need and would be accepting of. Want some one that can come to your house if needed? I would bet that more than one person would volunteer to do so. Ask, ask ask until you get the answers you want and need,. Good luck and God bless.
