4 AnswersOptical3 years agochristmas movie, trying to find it?
I watched this movie at a sad time of my life and it made me laugh, dont know who was in it. Christmas movie with a young man who is rich but alone at Christmas and offers the new couple living in his former childhood home big money to pretend they are his parents for Christmas and to re enact a Christmas from his childhood. the older man pretending to be his father was particularly funny. I tuned in when the movie had started so didn t get the title or actors. This movie is therapy for any one who is sad. I want to buy it so badly but no one I know remembers or recognizes it. Thank you for any help you can give me. Happy and blessed New Year to you.

Also I have a part D plan that is too expensive and not too helpful and am looking for info about this too. Thanks in advance for any and all advice you can help with, blessings and thanks.
6 AnswersSenior Citizens8 years agoSENIORS IN SMALL APARTMENTS..I desperately neeed help with storage...?
yes I finally got the senior apartment and am very grateful not to have to maintain a home anymore BUT the apartment is VERY tiny with almost no storage. I have given away ALL unnecessary things and the tiny closet and under the bed is full of just the necessities of life ( live in New England so need 2 seasons of clothing). Have you any ideas to store things away so house doesnt look messy with stuff all out in view??? As I am elderly I cant climb up step stools etc, afraid to fall so need ideas not too high up. Also how to "jazz up" the decor, brown rugs and tan walls that must stay. THANK YOU, I welcome any and all ideas...God bless.
18 AnswersSenior Citizens9 years agostorage problem, please, got any ideas to help me?
Hi, Ive moved thru financial necessity into a tiny 2 room apartment. I am not a clutterer, but am so challenged as to just find a way to keep the basic necessities of life hidden away so the small space doesnt look so messy, There is very little cabinet space and only one small closet which needs to hold EVERYTHING. Getting another apartment isnt an option as this is senior housing and I am grateful to finally live where I can afford to.
Also I like nice surroundings, it elevates one's mood to be in a pretty place so dont wish to fill it with cheap metal storage cabinets like some my neighbors have that look so industrial. I have already bought bed risers and used the space under the bed for out of season clothing and extra kitchen items I do need. Bless you for any ideas that may have worked for you. right now I have things a few plastic storage bins and bags. It's acceptable now where I just moved in people understand, but I am not happy having it this way forever. The few neighbors apartments I have seen are either majorly cluttered or very industrial looking like a warehouse with all those metal cabinets,. Paring down isnt an option as I have already had charities haul away all I dont need. (and I dont need much). The apartments were built for seniors over 50 years ago when folks didnt have tv,s stereos, microwaves, coffee makers and all the things that we need these days. (and even then were much too small, I hear.) Easy to heat (hooray here in New England) but so hard to look pretty as well as neat. Bless you , I will be so grateful for any and all suggestions.

6 AnswersSenior Citizens9 years agoSeniors, here is a work related question for you?
Even if you are retired.. if you ever worked in a work place, did you ever make a lifelong friend??
Some friends and I had a discussion about this the other night. I maintain that the work place is usually a dog eat dog environment where some ppl act like preschoolers... looking for who is slacking off so they can tell on them.. taking their moods out on their co workers.. or otherwise not there to be friends with. Most places I work have been like that. Is it just me??? Is it wrong to expect kindness or even.. dare I say- friendship--- from ppl at work????What have your experiences with this been???
21 AnswersSenior Citizens10 years agoHello Rose experts..I have a rose gardening question? Help please?
Yes I am already thinking Spring planting to help get me thru dreary New England winter months. New to rose gardening, my new apartment has a couple of the most beautiful rose bushes in front of my window and plenty of room for me to plant more. Do you know of a very hardy trouble free rose variety that does well in cold winter climates??? Also the existing ones are amazing, still blooming in late November but do have some black spots on leaves and white powdery stuff on some of the stems. I would love to cure this, what product would help?? These roses are a deep peach or light coral color, the neighbors tell me they have been there for years, bloom late into Fall in their sunny location. Would it help to feed them?? I am so thrilled to see them, they do the heart and soul good. Thanks so much for any and all advice.
4 AnswersGarden & Landscape10 years agoMedicare question. Have you found a plan you are happy with that doesnt cost much?
Just going on, and it seems so very complicated with all the different "parts". I take very little prescription medication but dont like the idea of a 20 percent co payment for doctor bills. Do we have to pay 20 percent of hospital costs too? It all seems so complicated and only not even 2 more full weeks, decisions must be made by dec.7. So stressful and Im not understanding it .Thanks for any and all help you can offer. God bless.

for comfortable living in very tight quarters. Only one closet for storage, I love the ease of not taking care of a big home but wonder how to find more storage for necessary things with out having to pay for and hire a storage spacel. I have gotten rid of many things but still feel the place is crowded and I hate the cluttered look. ALso any decorating tips to make small spaces look larger? The walls are a nice light neutral off white so I dont have to worry about that,, What else to make the area look more spacious? Thanks for any and all ideas,...
10 AnswersSenior Citizens10 years agowi fi question? I know so little..?
Getting a service provider is not an option right now. This Grandma now loves computers. But dont know much about how it all works.Never had a computer but got spoiled on a visit where I had great fun just with the basics.. search, games, etc. Now I WANT one,.. I was told to buy a lap top and get a wi fi card. I havent a clue what this is. I know local coffee shops offer it free. I am not from the tech generation and not sure how this works. Clerk in store gave me too much info. (Didnt understand a word he said). Any help on this would be greatly appreciated as I heard lap tops will be cheaper and cheaper due to the popularity of the tablets and I phones everyone likes.. The print is too small for me. Thanks, very grateful for any help.
