How can I convince a christian that it's unfair...?
How can I convince a christian that it's unfair for them to use the government to promote exclusively christian activities? (Examples are tax-exempt status, "under god" in the pledge of allegiance, the ground-zero cross, etc.)
You'd think this'd be a slam-dunk, since christianity boasts about morals, fairness & justice.

Perhaps it would be helpful to see what our country's founders had to say about the morals, fairness, and justice the US was founded upon. Check out "Quotes from America's Founding Fathers" in the sources.

You have atheist activists who prevent prayer in schools, football games and other public gatherings. It is not required for you to pray by the christians but now you do not have the choice because of the atheists. Who is unfair?
The tax exemption was not the brainchild of christians but of our for fathers who had the foresight to require the separation of church and state. Under god was also not their idea. You seem to have missed the boat on this one.

I am on the fence about some tax exemptions for the church, and I'm a Christian. Some abuse it. Errant preachers and churches ought to get theirs pulled.

I don't think you could. I don't really know about America, but where I live most churches give a LOT to charity and help a lot of people who would be left to fend for themselves when they need someone for whatever reason.

What is fairness? Justness is better than fairness to a Christian, who cares about fairness? Life isn't fair for anyone.

It's not your place to "convince" them....merely exercise your own right to vote! Otherwise, the real problem with that you have is not with individuals, but democracy itself!
