If God has spoken to you, how do you react when God tells someone else something in direct contradiction with what God told you?

Two questions: Are you religious? Do you believe in God?

If you answered "No" to the first question, but "Yes" to the second question, then why are you deliberately misleading people with your first answer?

How can I convince a christian that it's unfair for them to use the government to promote exclusively christian activities? (Examples are tax-exempt status, "under god" in the pledge of allegiance, the ground-zero cross, etc.)

You'd think this'd be a slam-dunk, since christianity boasts about morals, fairness & justice.

Believers: Have you noticed that science works whether you believe in it or not?

If most christians are not true christians, are you better off ignoring what most christians say?

Christians: Did you ever change denominations?

Christians: Did you ever change denominations? ... for example, from Methodist to Baptist, or from Catholic to Protestant.

Why did you leave your previous denomination? (Did you read something in the bible that convinced you? Did the new denomination provide a better social life?)

Why would god care whether we "worship" him?

Why would he even care if we believe he exists? Does he have low self-esteem?

What's the difference between type-1 and type-2 diabetes?: Type-1 is the type god cannot cure.

Does god have diplomatic immunity from his own laws?

For example, he says "Thou shalt not kill", but the bible is full of him killing.

Why do christians spell "Truth" with a capital T?

My answer: Because it's different from ordinary truth. In other words, it's untruth.

But I'd like to hear some more opinions on this.

Why do christians constantly ignore this Yahoo warning:...

"Did you leave the Caps Lock key on? Using all caps can be perceived as shouting.."

Why do christians try to make atheists look bad by saying, in effect, "It's just as bad as christianity"?

Examples:

"atheism is a religion too"

"atheists proselytize too"

Is this how creationist "logic" works?

I'm too tired to expand upon this analogy, so help me out:

Why does there have to be twenty different spellings of Jesus' name?

I know that different languages use different spellings. But when we're all conversing in English here, why do we get answers with YAHUSHUA, YEHOVAH, JEHOVAH, IESUS, etcetera?

Besides, when told you have to believe "in the name of the Lord", which name are you gonna believe in? One typo and you're scrod for eternity!

Do you think the Corinthians guy (you know, the guy who keeps posting 1Cor.14:34-35) has some sort of Corinthian leather* fetish?
