Two wedding dresses for a brunch reception?
I am having a brunch wedding in April fromm11am -3:30p. I bought a wedding gown on Ebay from a wedding boutique for $100 and I found a really pretty dress from David's Bridal that is shorter (just under knee) and it would look great for a brunch. I was thinking of long dress for ceremony and short one for brunch reception.
Is having 2 dresses for a brunch reception a little much or would it be ok?

GO FOR IT!!!!! It's definitely NOT too much! I don't understand why people are saying dress changes are inappropriate for daytime weddings. You can change in and out of anything you want, anytime, and anywhere. After all, it's your wedding.
Maybe this is just me, but when I think of a brunch wedding reception, I think of traditional English tea time. When I think of traditional English tea time, I think of ladies wearing floppy hats and cute little tea-length dresses (like the dress you mentioned). Of course, the floppy hat idea is irrelevant.
I'm having an evening wedding, but I too am changing into a shorter dress for the reception, simply because it's easier to dance and eat. When I'm partying, I don't want to worry about tripping over the dress or having someone hold up the train all the time.

I personally hate the 2 dress idea, for any wedding. In particular, a brunch reception is not appropriate for a dress change.

To me, it sounds like a bit much. But, frankly, I love tea length wedding dresses so much that I say go for it.
