almost 41 weeks.. but has this happened to anyone?
this morning i started having some false labor.. they were coming every 10 minutes for about a hr and a half then stopped.. i got up to use the bathroom after fallin back asleep and wiped and there was brown.. its hard to say if its discharge or fluid.. but it was only when i wiped.. then i used the bathroom for the second time.. as i used the bathroom a bit dripped into the toilet.. but it was again more so when i wiped.. i put on panty liner nothing on it but this time it was alot wen i wiped.. i called my mid-wife she just told me to do the panty-liner again... did this happen to anyone? any opinions on wat could be happening from experience

You could be losing your mucus plug, but it could also be your water leaking slowly. The problem is... If it is your water, it's not good that it's brown. That could mean that the baby had a bowel movement in your stomach and it is VERY unhealthy for your baby to have meconium in the fluid. I'd go get checked at the hospital just to be safe, since you aren't sure what it is. If it is your water and there is meconium in it, you will need to deliver your baby ASAP.

Its probably braxton hicks and your mucus plug beginning to release.
Edit: When I first read this i thought it said 31 weeks.. But now that I see that you are 41 weeks I agree with Chloe. My mucus plug started coming out around 35 weeks but i still didnt go into labor until i was 40 weeks and 3 days along. So the mucus plug coming out is not a sign you will go into labor soon, for the people saying that it is. I had no braxton hicks at all. Id assume your mucus plug must have come out already.. So i would go to the hospital and get checked out. It seems like Chloes answer would be correct..

NOT normal! Has your water broken? Because if it did you should head STRAIGHT for the hospital! The brown could be Meconium (your baby's poop!) and if he did a bowel movement inside you, theirs a chance of aspiration and the baby could get really seriously sick. I cant help to be alarmed with the brown, make sure, call someone else!

I believe your in the start of your labour procesess... What's happening is ur mucus plug starting to come out I think especially if its stringy... I think you should start real labour withen the next 48 hours with no induction :)

it sound like prelabor, you should call your dr and let him know what is going on, but it sounds like the bloody show which is what happens right before your water breaks...so sounds like you willl be in labor some time soon.
