A bunch of scientists in unrelated fields don't believe in evolution, how about that?

Isn't that a good way to make a point?

Guess they must be right. I mean, if some scientists I've never heard of said it... The evidence is overwhelming.

I need to stop making questions which refer to a specific answer someone gave to a question, which nobody read and so will misinterpret this one (the last question I asked was about the misuse of "scientists say" by people and the media to give credence to ideas which -most- scientists do not believe to be the case)

Update:

Believer, yeah see this is the kind of thing that I'm talking about. Especially since you don't tell me when these quotes were said, what happened to their image afterwards, whether the quotes conflict with their other sayings or anything. It's blank, meaningless.

Especially the one from the British Museum, since we also have a Natural History Museum just a short walk away from it, any quotes from there?

Update 2:

PS: Do you know what's great about these questions I've been asking? Both religious people AND non-religious people both think I'm on the opposite team.

It's kind of a weird glimpse behind the curtain.

I believe God and His Holy Word. I could care less about what some fallible men believe especially in science when their "facts" change on a daily basis.

Put your faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation before it's too late.

Have you ever read the book In Six Days: Why 50 Ph.D. Scientists Chose to Believe in Creation? I think it is by John Ashton.

Most scientists only believe in evolution because they think so many other scientists do.

    I recommend http://creation.com/ and http://www.evolutionisstupid.com/

Ha Ha. I get you. I agree. I agree to all you said.

@John: You better read exactly what that article is saying John. According to what it says "The majority of scientist agree with natural selection. She does not claim to not believe in it. She is disagreeing with one species evolving into another. 87% agree with natural selection. Not evolution.

"Nine-tenths of the talk of evolutionists is sheer nonsense, not founded on observation and wholly unsupported by facts. This museum is full of proofs of the utter falsity of their views. In all this great museum, there is not a particle of evidence of the transmutation of species." (Dr. Etheridge, Paleontologist of the British Museum)

"I reject evolution because I deem it obsolete; because the knowledge, hard won since 1830, of anatomy, histology, cytology, and embryology, cannot be made to accord with its basic idea. The foundationless, fantastic edifice of the evolution doctrine would long ago have met with its long- deserved fate were it not that the love of fairy tales is so deep-rooted in the hearts of man." (Dr. Albert Fleischmann, University of Erlangen)

"I have come to the conclusion that Darwinism is not a testable scientific theory, but a metaphysical research programme... (Dr. Karl Popper, German-born philosopher of science, called by Nobel Prize-winner Peter Medawar, "incomparably the greatest philosopher of science who has ever lived.")

"The fact of evolution is the backbone of biology, and biology is thus in the peculiar position of being a science founded on an unproved theory -- is it then a science or faith? Belief in the theory of evolution is thus exactly parallel to belief in special creation..." (Dr. L. Harrison Matthews, in the introduction to the 1971 edition of Darwin's "Origin of Species")

"What is so frustrating for our present purpose is that it seems almost impossible to give any numerical value to the probability of what seems a rather unlikely sequence of events... An honest man, armed with all the knowledge available to us now, could only state that in some sense, the origin of life appears at the moment to be almost a miracle... (Dr. Francis Crick, Nobel Prize-winner, codiscoverer of DNA)

    ________________________________________

"Once we see, however, that the probability of life originating at random is so utterly minuscule as to make it absurd, it becomes sensible to think that the favorable properties of physics, on which life depends, are in every respect DELIBERATE... It is therefore, almost inevitable that our own measure of intelligence must reflect higher intelligences.. even to the limit of God." (Sir Fred Hoyle, British mathematician and astronomer, and Chandra Wickramasinghe, co-authors of "Evolution from Space," after acknowledging that they had been atheists all their lives)

    http://people-press.org/2009/07/09/section-5-evolu...

Read it, it's short and isn't altered by whatever site you've been reading.

Needless to say, you're wrong on countless points you make, you omit facts, and generally try to pervert evidence to fit into your religious agenda----but I honestly recommend you read this article. Perhaps it can allow you to see more things clearly.

  • Yes, well, if an astrophysicist, a hematologist, or a bioterrorism expert doesn't quite accept the validity of evolution, does it matter? But it is an accepted theory among most scientists and it has far more validity than the bible story.

And about 98% of scientists working in fields that are actually related to living things 'believe' in evolution. How about that.

I hope you aren't talking about the list of "creation scientists" on those creation websites. A lot of those lists are padded with names of people that do accept evolution and those names were used without permission from those people. A ton of the people on those lists asked to be removed years ago and are pissed about ever having been on it in the 1st place.

You must be referring to those that call themselves "X-tian scientists". They are biased w/their beliefs, & their results mean nothing to the rest of the scientific community.
