Will police officers come if you call 911 and tell them that alien monsters are attacking?

It seems that most of you who are answering are not reading the question.

#1 This is Hypothetical.

#2 This would not be a false report and you would not be arrested for a false report because the peron who wrote the question asked "If hypothetically, one were really attacked by paranormal creatures, would it be better to report that there are highly armed robbers in your house fitted with body armor?"

I think it would be better to state that highly armed robbers are in your house. I would tell them that there were so many that you are barricaded inside but are hiding. If you told the truth they would take it as a prank and hang up. What are they going to do? Show up to your house and say they received a report that E.T. was inside?

Also if they hung up on you and were going to write you up, they would have to come to your home to write you up, in which they would find the aliens!

Personally, I think that if you called them with something unbelievable like that, I HIGHLY doubt anyone would come to help you, because they'd think your high, hallucinating, mentally ill, (no offense to ANYONE) or just doing some lame-o prank call.

But if something WERE to happen along the lines of paranormal/alien creatures attacking, your best bet would be to call the police and tell them,

-You are going to be killed,

-You are being robbed

-Assaulted,

etc.

Hey...that is a very clever alternative....one really COULD get better results if they were to describe a more 'acceptable' emergency...lol (However, it has been my experience that the police departments in most cities are stretched rather thin and so by the time someone gets there, you'd be history anyway.)

They will come to see what is happening there. They don't have to believe it is what you think it is or say it is, but they will still come to investigate. If there is nothing there or any evidence there ever was, then they might take you in for making a false report or maybe even have you psychologically evaluated.

If you're persistent enough they'll eventually send someone out but it won't be for your complaint, it'll be to fine you for falsley calling 911. If you continue to act crazy they might even bring an ambulance and remove you from your house and take you to a mental facility.

They will come out and write you a ticket for filing a false police report.

No, they wouldn't come. If a flying saucer were to land the army would be the first there. And yes, hypothetically it would be better to report a rape or burglary.

Lol that would be sorta useless because maybe the "aliens" will disable the electricity or something like that

If you persist, you will be charged with abusing and misusing 911. More-so, doing something so stupid may be that one small amount of time that causes someone who is in genuine need of assistance to not get it.

It'd be better not to call police.They won't know anymore than you, so more people will be endangered. Have an alien expert on speed dial.
