So... diseases come from sin; is that right?

I want to understand this theory better.

I've heard that the world was perfect until Adam and Eve disobeyed God... Everything from there on was screwed up. How does that work?

Did diseases and defects appear suddenly after Adam and Eve ate that fruit and had to make themselves clothes and stuff?

Wow... This is worded really badly. Sorry about that--my grammatical skills are lacking today.

Yes you have a handle on it. God made everything perfect. Adam would have never died had he not disobeyed God. But he did. And that tainted Gods perfect creation. So God cursed Adam, Eve, the serpent, and the earth itself - all creation actually.

That is when death clocks started ticking. And things in the world began to decay.

See what happens when we disobey God!

Rom 8:20 Against its will, all creation was subjected to God's curse. But with eager hope,

Rom 8:21 the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God's children in glorious freedom from death and decay.

  • There is only one sin. It is : 'Getting Caught.'

Diseases are basically caused by viruses.

    There was no death.

    Now there is.

"The wages of SIN is death." (Rom 6:23 )

There was no disease and death until sin entered the world. (see: Job)
